Last August I spent a wonderful week guiding Ellen and her family from LA, California, we had the chance to experience a bit of everything. The rocky trails of the Dolomiti di Sesto, around the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, and the more gentle path on Pralongià, Alta Badia, hiking hut to hut from West to East. We enjoyed a rock climbing day with the kids at the Cinque Torri, we hiked up and down the two WW1 italian tunnels on Lagazuoi, yet we went down the Kaiserjager (the austrian soldiers) trail, to have a whole experience of the Great War history around this mountain.  We ended our trip climbing to the top of the Piz da Lech, a 3000 meter peak on the Sella Massif, Alta Badia. The excellent hospitality of Rifugio Lagazuoi, Pralongià and Rifugio Kostner made their experience in the Dolomites unforgettable and so unique, together with some nice and pleasant comforts and the amazing food culture we are all proud to share with guests.
