BOOKING, DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
A booking is confirmed when you have paid 30% of the guide fee.
Final payment must be made at the latest 30 days before the start of the trip, where not otherwise specified.
For bookings made later than 30 days before the activity full payment is required directly at the time of booking.
For single of few days trip, full payment is required at the time of the booking.
CANCELLATION
The Guide reserves the right to cancel an activity if the number of participants is too little.
If a client cancels his/her participation more than 30 days before the start of the trip, he/she will loose the deposit only, where not otherwise specified.
If a client cancels his/her participation 30 to 15 days before the start of the trip, he/she has to pay 50% of the Guide fee.
If a client cancels his/her participation 15 days before the start of the trip, he/she has to pay 100% of the Guide fee.
EQUIPMENT
Damaged or dropped equipment lent from the Guide must be paid.
GUIDING
The client is obliged to follow the Guide instructions and words. The Guide cannot be held responsible for the client’s own actions and decisions.
The Guide reserves the right to change the itinerary in case of bad weather and/or mountain conditions.
If the client gets ill or injured there is no refund.
The Guide reserves the right to change the planned itinerary if the client’s lack of fitness or wrong personality in any way affect the safety of the group.
INSURANCE
It is the client’s responsibility to have an insurance that covers rescue in high mountain environment.
It is the client’s responsibility to have insurance that covers travel problems, illness, accidents and hospital costs.
RISKS OF MOUNTAIN ACTIVITIES
The client is aware that activities in the mountains involves known and unknown risks that could cause serious injuries and even death. With mountain activities mean all skiing, glacier activities, rock, alpine climbing, trekking and activities that the Guide offers.
Is the duty of the Guide to minimize risks in the mountains. However, it is impossible for the Guide to anticipate all risks.
Any involvement with the Guide services is completely voluntary and the client chooses to participate entirely at his or her own risk. As the client accepts the above conditions, he or she is aware of the risks and has also accepted the risks.
